The aim of research - ground of dumped blast furnace dross utility value for the alkaline dross astringent sorbents, water purification; study of chemical composition influence on dye ion asso-ciate stability, and of the role of catalysis in these processes; the revealing and generalization of new regularities of different classes dye ion association, regularities of ionization and electro-crystallization of aluminium, copper and their alloys in solutions with different composition; vapour pressure concentration dependence of amino acid salt solutions in wide concentration range. Methods of investigation: Х-ray diffraction analysis, petrographic analysis, atomic absorption analysis, gamma-spectrometric, titration, spectrophotometric, chromatography. Results of investigation: Radioactive composition of dumped blast furnace dross of ukrainian metallurgic plants has been studied. The mechanism of natural radionuclide holding by minerals of dumped blast furnace dross has been established. The change of element, oxide and miner-alogical composition of blast furnace dross in different fractions has been shown. The procedure of dumped blast furnace dross useful properties evaluation with the aim of their complex utiliza-tion in construction materials production has been elaborated. Criteria of environment friendly technology of dumped blast furnace dross utilization as raw material in preparation of construc-tion astringent materials and sorbents for water purification have been grounded. Ecological effi-ciency of utilization of the dumped blast furnace dross of Mariupol metallurgical plant has been evaluated. The procedure of alkaline dross astringent materials (for stucco work and building mortar) has been elaborated and applied in production. The change in anodic dissolving of ?-brass alloys depending on solution composition and con-centration has been shown. Recycle scheme of waste alkaline aluminate etching solutions with simultaneous preparation of zeolite as effective adsorbent has been proposed. Solution chemical composition effect on dye associate stability has been studied. The Procedure of spectrophoto-metric determination of methanol in water (till 2 mg/dm3) has been improved.
