It is based on the analogy between the classical wave problems for inhomogeneous dielectric media and quantum-mechanical problems for the carriers in a nonuniform static potential. The interaction of ultrasonic waves with a magnetic system of antiferromagnetic and at the same time weak ferromagnet was studied experimentally. An original method of solving the problems of reflection, transmission and transformation of nonlinear waves with arbitrary polarization in layered superconductors was proposed. For the first time the existence of the oblique surface of Josephson plasma waves was demonstrated. The model of quantum transport at the edge of the two-dimensional topological insulator between two superconducting electrodes was created. Its comparison with experiments allows determining the ratio of contributions from multiple Andreev and normal reflections and electron-impurity scattering. For the first time the influence of temperature and refractive index of the surrounding air space on the spectral and energy characteristics of cylindrical dielectric resonators with fluctuations "whispering gallery" in millimeter range was divided. The temperature dependence of the complex conductivity for a number of Fe-based superconductors was determined. The effect of avalanche-like transition of high-temperature superconducting transmission line into the dissipative state was found out. The increase of the Faraday effect in magnetoactive gyrotropic metamaterials was identified and studied.
