Karazin popup.description2 Object of the research - the physical process of formation of scattering fields and strong local fields during the interaction of electromagnetic radiation with composite and anisotropic PBG structures. Aim of the work is improving of consumer characteristics and increase of competitiveness of device providing optical control of fields for optical, THz and UHF bands, as well as identifying the physical phenomena of wave propagation in anisotropic PBG structures and metamaterials. Methods - to analyze the properties of anisotropic PBG structures the procedure of scalarization of electromagnetic field was used, also we use the PSTD and FDTD methods and the method of transfer matrices. Results of work: research mathematical model of anisotropy PBG structures was perfomed and established the influence of the relative orientation of the optical axes of layers and the plane of wave incidence on the PSi microcavity properties; all-dielectric planar metamaterial for terahertz region that contains only one bar into periodic cell was studied and the influence of its form, substrate and dissipative losses on metamateraial resonance properties was revealed; mathematical model of chain coupled Josephson transitions was built on base of the approach of Lagrange and Lagrangian and equations of motion for the chain were obtained; model-based analysis simple one-dimensional superconducting metamaterial structures were performed; analytical mathematical model of composite medium that is formed by the chain of conductive cylinders was build.
