The research objective: to develop the theoretical basics and technologies of advanced laser information systems. The research method: theoretical and experimental study of laser communication systems and holographic television systems. Theoretical analysis of hologram synthesis for TV systems was carried out, and methods of redundancy reduction of holographic data transmitted over communication channels were developed. Concept of holographic color TV system is proposed which is based on known methods of color images reconstruction by using holograms and the new principles of hologram synthesis of 3D objects, developed in the project. The working model of the monochrome holographic TV system was designed and built. A theoretical analysis of the coherent radiation generated by a laser system with an open resonator was carried out. A laboratory model of the laser communication system with an open cavity was built. Experimental research of laser systems with an open resonator was conducted. The results have confirmed the possibility of creating a self-focusing, multibeam, inertialess guidance system. The system is capable to compensate phase distortions arising along the way of laser beam propagating between moving objects and a laser active element.
