Substitution neodymium for samarium in the compounds Nd5Mo3O16 has been investigated by X-ray diffraction, IR-spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy. It was shown that solid solution Nd5-xSmxMo3O16 with fluorite-related structure is formed in the range up to x=3. Specific conductivity increase with increasing of samarium containing in the range up to x=1. Crystal structure refinement of Nd4SmMo3O16 by Rietveld method showed, that the Nd(2) polyhedron is distorted more, than the one in the Nd5Mo3O16 structure. Cerium (III)-containing polyoxotungstates Na9[Ce(W5O18)2]·31H2O, Ce2W7O24?20H2O, Ce5[HW7O24]3?56H2O, Ce10[W12O40(OH)2]3?94H2O, Na10Ce20 [W12O40(OH)2]7?180H2O, Na2Ce2[Ce2(H2O)10W22O72(OH)2]?35H2O synthesized for the first time and characterized by chemical analysis, XRD and infrared spectroscopy. The conditions for the synthesis of copper (II) paratungstate B Cu5[W12O40(OH)2]·35H2O from the equilibrium solution at Z=1.17 and from non-equilibrium solution at Z=1.29 were elaborated. The conditions for the formation of a double sodium-copper (II) paratungstates B Na2Cu3(CuOH)2[W12O40(OH)2]·32H2O and Na2Cu4[W12O40(OH)2]·22H2O as a result of self-assembly in solution of Cu(NO3)2-Na2WO4-HNO3-H2O were established. The results of X-ray single crystal studying of (CuOH)2[W12O40(OH)2]·32H2O and Na2Cu4[W12O40(OH)2]·22N2O monocrystals were deposited in the International Crystal Structural Database for inorganic compounds ICSD Fachinformationszentrum Karlsruhe, Germany as a CIF-files. A new structural type of copper (II) -containing paratungstate B with original cationic, anionic ordering and cavities in the structure with three types of coordination polyhedra of Cu atoms was found.
