Purpose - analysis and evaluation of premature mortality of persons who were children at the time of the Chernobyl catastrophe and lived in 1986-2011 in the contaminated territories (Narodichy, Ovruch, Polesskoye and Ivankov rayons).Methods - theoretical, scientific, demographic, statistical, graphical, hardware and software; personal computers. Results. It was found that up to 25,6 % of the modern population most RCT had been irradiated in childhood and adolescence (27,2 thousand). In the sexual proportion of the cohort was dominated by males. During the follow-up revealed gradual increase in the number of deaths, that meets the age peculiarities of the transition cohorts in older age groups. In the composition of the dead was dominated by men. Due to premature deaths in 25 years of living on RCT cohort potentially lost 82.7 thousand years of life. The average age of death for both sexes was (27.7 ± 0.05) year, men were (28,2 ± 0.002) year, and women were (26,05 ± 0.0006). On average chronological RCT for 1986-2011 observation, the mortality rate was (2.7 ± 1.67) ‰, and in Ukraine - (1.8 ± 0.82) ‰. The standardized level of total mortality increased by RCT 4 times. In the structure of causes of death for 50.4 % accounted for exogenous reasons, 43.1 % of somatic pathology, 6.55 % symptoms, signs and ill-defined conditions. Among endogenous causes of death in men and 48.9 % are diseases of the circulatory system, diseases of the digestive system, symptoms, signs and ill-defined conditions, mental disorders and diseases of the nervous system, neoplasms, certain infectious and parasitic diseases; women - of 32.34 % for neoplasms, diseases of the circulatory system, diseases of the digestive system, certain infectious and parasitic diseases, diseases of the respiratory system. On RCT revealed a significant excess mortality of persons 1968-1986 birth in comparison with the country's population and men in comparison with women.
