Karazin popup.description2 Object of the research - process of radiation, diffraction on obstacles and re-ceiving pulse electromagnetic signals. Aim of the work is to create a theoretical background, including algorithms for signal filtering and processing radar information from an antenna array of a pulse georadar. Methods of the study - time marching modelling of wave propagation in time domain, method of induced currents, method of Grin function in the time domain. Results of work: in the R&D Project a mathematical and software models of the radar functioning were created. It allows us to calculate signals that the radar receives for any given sounding signals and given scatterers. Based on the created model the algorithms are tested for processing information with the aim to separate useful sig-nals reflected from a particular scaterer on the background of scattering from the rest scatterers (clutter). Completing this stage allows us to get a modelling instrument for determining requirements to a real device to be created, testing the algorithms for ra-dar signal processing. The ways for further improving the model are sketched that are based on adding characteristics of real antennas in the form of impulse responses for spherical harmonics.
