Objective: To study the characteristics of dispersion of nanometer gold film in contact with the amorphous film Ge. Research Techniques: films were obtained by vacuum condensation and stud-ied by electron microscopy. The study of changes in morphology and crystal structure of the binary film system Au/Ge during its heating into the electron microscope. Layered film system Au/Ge was formed by sequential condensation components in vacuum, the film thickness of gold was 0.2-0.3 nm and that of germanium was 5 nm. We discovered capillary movement of nanoparticles of eutectic on the surface of germanium, caused by its crystallization at temperatures above 200-250 C. The discussion of the mechanism of low temperature crystallization of semiconductors in contact with the metal film associated with the formation and crystallization of the liquid phase at the interface is in progress. The main results have been obtained for the first time, their relevance is speci-fied by the necessity of understanding the physics of processes in low-dimensional systems, and extensive use of nanoobjects in modern technologies.
