Purpose of work : creation of scientifically-methodical bases and practical recommendations for the increase of technical level and reliability of TG during work in electro- power systems. It is done due to development of theory and methods of their planning on the basis of the numeral-field methods of calculations of their magnetic fields, modern achievements of computer technique and software. Research methods : mathematical and physical design, numeral methods, experimental researches, methods of optimization. The theoretical and programmatic providing is worked out for the calculation of electromagnetic parameters of TG in their different modes, both in active part and in end-capping areas. The analysis of operating reliability and economy of TG, set on thermal power-stations indexes is conducted, the terms of optimization of parameters and processes of making of TG. are certain. The mechanical calculation of inflexibility of constructions of elements of nonactive area of TG. is executed . The estimation of temperature supplies of heating of TG is done, the tests of models of their coolers of air are conducted in the different modes. The decision of the applied issue of the day of increase of technical level and reliability of powerful TG is arrived at by their improvement, and also by preparation of specialists, providing applying of work in industry.
