The aim of the work is development and application of non-traditional schemes of X-ray beam selection for analysis of nano-structured materials and nano-impurities. The scientific and practical importance of the obtained results is in application of the developed algorythms of X-ray beam formation for fluorescence selective excitation in order to achieve the maximum sensitivity for analysis of trace impurities and light elements in multi-phase systems. The developed X-ray methods have been applied for studying the structure and internal stress in strongly textured ribbons and layers with preferential content of the icosahedral quasi-crystalline phase based on titanium, zirconium and nickel, as well as structure and chemical transformations in surface leyers of materials for divertor plates in the ITER program.
