As a result, a technique of biofunctionalization of CdS quantum dots (P. ostreatus) using PEG and BSA was developed. The studies of the photoluminescence spectra of functionalized systems "nanoparticles CdS - PEG" and "nanoparticles CdS - BSA" with two excitation wavelengths at 340 nm and 380 nm was carried out. The photoluminescence spectra of functionalized CdS nanoparticles are different from the spectrum of the initial CdS nanoparticles, namely, in the wavelength range 460 nm - 470 nm was observed an extended peak, absent in the spectra of the initial nanoparticles. The possibility of using the functionalized CdS nanoparticles as a fluorescent biolables in plant cells was shown. Functionalization with PEG creates a protective coating that protects the cell from direct contact with the cadmium-containing nanoparticles. Mechanisms of targeted interaction of the functionalized nanoparticles with biomolecules in cells is a separate area of work, which is expected to explore in the future. In addition, the cytotoxic effect of CdS nanoparticles was investigated. We used tumor cell lines of B-lymphocytes (Namalva line) and Jurkat - cell line of human T lymphocytes.
