The aim of the work is revealing new effects and regularities on the changes of structure and physical, electrophysical and physical-mechanical properties of construction and functional solids, namely, refractory metals, alloys, steels and carbon materials which are promising for application under conditions of radiation, thermal, and mechanical loadings with limiting intensity. The investigation methods are thermal evaporation, and ion sputtering of substance; X-ray diffraction and X-ray fluorescence analysis, electron-optical analysis. Scientific novelity is that for the first time, the sputtering coefficient jump-like increase under increasing the C60 ion energy has been establised. For the first time, the determining role of excess vacancies and vacancy complexes in the formation of crack nuclei was established for the samples exposed to hydrogen plasma , as well as the role of the dislocation initial density in the internal stress development and cracking was determined.
