The DNA-comet method has shown that nanoparticles of C60 fullerene do not break the DNA chain in normal (lymphocytes) and transformed (lymphoblasts) cells. The fullerene C60 in the complex with cisplatinum (C60+Cis) does not influence the genotoxic activity of Cis in vitro. At the same time the flow cytometry method has shown that the fullerene C60 in the complex C60 + Cis influences the mode of cell death reducing nectrotic cell fraction.
