Purpose of the research is to define the functional characteristics of normal and chronic myeloid leukemia progenitor cells in primary cell culture in vitro. Results of the research. It is established that the acquisition of resistance by leukemic clone cells to TKI is characterized by increased proliferative activity. It is revealed that previous chemotherapeutic therapies adversely affected the subsequent response of leukemic clone cells to TKI. It is probably due to the accumulation of additional genetic abnormalities that contribute to resistance to drugs. It is proved that prognostic value of patient's bone marrow cells functional activity is comparable with a recognized prognostic factor - Sokal index.
