The meiotic ichthyofauna south of Ukraine includes 31 species of 20 genera 5 families. Meotic ichthyological complexes of the south of Ukraine are characterized by somewhat less diversity at the level of families compared to teleost groups of late Sarmatian. During the inventory of habitats of rare species in Kyiv, new location for 10 species was revealed: Iris sibirica, I. rseudocyperus, Epipactis helleborine, Pulsalilla patens, Anacamptis morio and others.
