The calculation of radiation protection for accelerator CLINAC 2300CD was done. The values of required thickness of concrete protection (walls) and protective labyrinth (ambient gamma radiation) for the operation in a mode of electron energy up to 18 MeV were obtained. Preliminary project and budget of modifications of premises of the radiotherapy complex were prepared. The estimates of the cost of necessary construction and assembly work for installation of CLINAC 2300CD and it operation were obtained. The paper also described and illustrated with photos the work on dismantling of the old equipment.
