Results: Steady of air carcinogen's pollution by was shown by the example air pollution of Kyiv, Cherkasy and Kremenchug; in terms of carcinogenic risk a number of compounds that exert the greatest negative influence on health was determined; it was shown that the level of total cancer risk for the population of studied cities was high and required to realize reducing measures; established that studied carcinogens could cause the risk of new 2-3 cases of cancer per 100 thousand of population annually;association between air pollution levels and population cancer incidence and terms for possible manifestation of their oncogenic effect were established; influence of territorial peculiarity of cities carcinogenic air pollution on population thyroid cancer incidence was found; chemicals that have the most negative oncological effect was identified; the possible mechanisms of their influence was analyzed; the conceptual schema of definition of chemical carcinogens contribution to formation of population cancer incidence was formulated that would help on expanding the range of investigating carcinogens.
