The object of research: physico-chemical characteristics of the natural and drinking water; performance content haloacetic acids (HAAcs) and trihalomethanes (THMs) in natural and chlorinated drinking water; impact on chlororganic compounds content in water and various сhloragents certain physical factors (pH). Methods: literature search-analytical, hygienic assessment, physical and chemical. It is shown that in the process of chlorination of water from surface sources with THMs produces toxic mine in comparable concentrations. THM levels when used in water treatment chlorine gas or sodium hypochlorite usually exceed limits by 2 level or more, and at the same time are within or below the norm by replacing chlorine gas to chlorinate with preamonisation (Kiev). The concentration of the HAAcs in chlorinated water when using these chloragents always lower THMs, almost does not exceed the established norms for the HAAcs, and as for the THMs is the minimum in the processing of chloramine water. The basic features of the formation of non-volatile chlorinated water in the mine regarding THMs: the formation of HAAcs, as THMs, subject to the "dose-time" based; HAAcs levels in water significantly lower than the amount of THMs formed; Unlike THMs (chloroform) level of mine water is below standards set for them. It is found that the formation of THMs and HAAcs affect the same main factors: the amount and quality of the organic substances in the raw water, the type and dose chloragents contact time, the conditions of the disinfection as well as acidity, etc. In a number of factors influence the chlorine dose. It is a priority condition for the formation of DBPs. Product Description popup.authors Є. А. Труш В. А. Соболь Л. А. Соболь Л. В. Заєць Н. Д. Михайлів О. Б. Липовецька О. В. Зоріна Т. А.
