A comparative analysis of the strategic partnership concepts used in political practice around the world is proposed. It was found out that by their signs strategic partnership is a flexible form of interaction between international actors, which may refer to the relationship between members of security alliances as well as relations of states and international organizations with quite different interests, which are interested in mutual cooperation. There were analyzed such issues as: the potential use of tools of strategic partnership in the implementation of foreign policy objectives, modeling and alliance partnership agreements in the context of foreign policy interests of Ukraine.
