The target of research is to study the peculiarities of layers formation in multi-layer productson the base of ferrous and nonferrous metal alloys; development of the technological principles for the processes of production of new multi-layer superduty engineering constructions using the casting methods with highly-concentrated energy sources. The research methods include metallographic, X-ray micrography and spectral analyses, mechanical tests, physical and mathematical simulation, verification nature tests. The research results for non-stationary thermal and hydrodynamic processes within the area of heating by laser radiation and plasma jet are presented. It is set that convective streams in the melt increase the amplitude of temperature fluctuations at the expense of mutual action of heat flow oscillations and the melt's motion rate. The temperature-time relationships, gas- and hydrodynamic dependences of the formation process of multi-layer constructions and composite materials are determined. The method to control the processes of plasma, laser and electron-beam processing is developed due to the optimization of space-time characteristics of concentrated energy sources of continuous action. The experimental and technological equipment is created to research the bonding processes of different metals and alloys for production of multi-layer constructions of wide application range with composite layers. The method of production of bimetallic flat constructions is developed on the base of refractory and fusible metals during the process of electron-beam melting. The recommendations on implementation of the developed technologies and new combined methods of processing are formulated.
