In addition, there were obtained membranes with bifunctional surface layers, where methyl groups were introduced along with amine groups. Comparing the wetting angles of samples synthesized from different structuring agents, we can conclude that the presence of ethylene bridges in BTESE has no effect on the membrane surface hydrophobicity.
