Berbenets Lyudmyla Serhiivna, Registration Date 02-03-2017 Organization Shevchenko Institute of Literature NASU popup.description2 The research project was based on the study of the specificity of intermedial studies within literary criticism. It was also aimed at the consideration of methodological and theoretical approaches to intermediality in the field of literary studies. Though intermedial studies arouse approximately 50 years ago it is clear that scholars have not yet elaborated any unanimous view of intermediality. Even the terminology of intermedial studies is still being developed, and key terms "medium", "media", "intermediality" are contradictory and sometimes illogical. That proves the topicality and importance of this research. In the course of research, a number of literary works were studied from the point of view of intermediality (the writings by W. Szymborska, D. Mas?owska, Z. Burchuladze et. al.). Within the scope of problems connected with intermedialty the phenomenon of reality novel was studied. The influence of reality TV and reality show on the peculiarities of broadcasting of the events, which took place on the Euromaidan, was analyzed. In the result of the research a number of papers were presented during conferences and lectures in Ukraine and abroad, a number of articles were published, and a book "See to be Seen: Reality Show, Reality Novel, and Revolution Online" was written and published by Oleksandr Mykhed (2016). The scholars worked mutually on the selection of the texts in English, Polish, and German, which would comprise an anthology "The Intermedial Dimension of Contemporary Literary Studies". Further selection, estimation, and translation of the texts, which will be included in the anthology, are being carried out, and the system of headings is being elaborated. The results of the research can be applied in the teaching of the university study courses connected with the literary criticism (e.g. Literary Criticism, Intermedial Studies etc.) as well as in the creation of new textbooks in literary criticism. The results can also be used in further research projects aimed at the problem of intermediality. Product Description popup.authors Михед Олександр Павлович popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
