The aim - to monitor the environmental condition, the study of hydrological, hydrochemical, hydrobiological regimes and state fish fauna of reservoirs of complex appointment and development of new fish-breeding technologies, scientific and biological studies, modes fishery use and passports reservoirs comprehensive destination advice on minimizing the impact of hydropower plants on the fish fauna reservoirs, forecasting changes in hydro potential and ways to optimize water environment and improve its fish productivity. Methods - The study was conducted using modern techniques. Hydrochemical samples processed in a certified laboratory Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Institute under the agreement on scientific cooperation. Under the same contract, together with specialists of the Institute of Hydrobiology of the NAS of Ukraine, Institute of Zoology of NAS of Ukraine, Institute of Fisheries NAAS of Ukraine carried out processing phytoplankton, zooplankton, benthos and fish fauna. In the course of the work used an integrated approach, the essence of which is that the research was renovated water while various experts, both from the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, and the other referred to above scientific institutions. This made it possible to explore the ecological status of water bodies of many parties and to develop recommendations based on analysis of a number of factors. The value of the results is to develop modern methods of monitoring environmental condition, advice on rational use of water biological resources and increasing complex purpose, developing measures to reduce the impact of hydro and thermal power station in the state of biota reservoirs. The data monitoring and an electronic database became the foundation for its use to identify patterns of functioning of aquatic ecosystems in terms of natural and anthropogenic influences. The actual data collected during the research became the basis for writing dissertations and 20 master's theses 2.
