It was shown that two pattern's type can occur on the surface: hexagons and linear structures. Conditions of no defect structure formation were found. We have studied self-organization of nano-structures at solid surface by means of spatio-temporal evolution of both vacancy concentration and temperature of the surface layer. Wehave shown that morphology of vacancy islands emergent due to generation of nonequilibrium defects and nonlinear dynamics of the system can be controlled by positive feedback of the surface layer temperature, defect production rate and environment temperature.
