Optimal specifications of probe-forming systems with non-uniformity of phase density at entrance and the ways of beam phase response optimization were determined. Recommendations on useful improvement of resolution of the nuclear microprobes available were suggested. The results have been applied to optimization of the IAP NASU nuclear scanning microprobe, mass-spectrometers and optical inductively coupled plasma spectrometers.
