The work purpose is to fulfill tactical and technical requirements of the geoportal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and to create a model. Research methods for the achievement of work objectives used in the system analysis, Petri-object approach, the mathematical apparatus teletrafc, the method of comparative adjustments. Based on the analysis of experience of application of geoinformation systems for military use in local wars and armed conflicts and the possible technical solutions for the creation and use of the geoportal of the armed forces of foreign States and functioning analogues in the sphere of national economy of Ukraine developed the following methodology: methods of distribution of information resources of the geoportal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; the method of determining and calculating the transmission characteristics of information flows to users to the database of the geoportal and methods of assessment of efficiency of functioning of the geoportal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On the basis of these methods proved the tactical and technical requirements of the geoportal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and established its information model. The materials of the report can be used in the creation and further functioning of the geoportal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and also in educational process of higher military educational institutions, which train specialists in survey and navigation support of troops (forces) and the management bodies of topographical service of Armed Forces of Ukraine.
