The object of the study was the legal relationship that arises when organizing and using the Internet network, which occur on the territory of Ukraine and abroad. The purpose of the work is to study the peculiarities and state of legal regulation of social relations that arise during the organization and use of the Internet, to find out the relation of private and public interests in it with the purpose of determining the optimal legal mechanisms of provision and protection; Preparation of recommendations for the improvement of existing regulatory legal acts on the regulation of relations in the Internet with the aim of eliminating existing gaps and conflicts in legal regulation and ensuring homogeneity in their application. Methods of research: To achieve the goal in the research process, general scientific and special methods of cognition have been applied: dialectical, formal-logical, comparative-legal, system-structural, legal modeling, analytical, logical, formal-logical, etc. Within the framework of the above mentioned issues, a study was made of a set of issues and measures aimed at determining the legal nature of relations in the Internet, in particular, the peculiarities of the legal status of the subjects of these relations, the legal basis for the implementation of economic activity in the Internet; Separate features of the implementation of electronic transactions, problems of economic-legal regulation of contractual provision of relations arising in the network and means of protection of intellectual property rights in the Internet; Given suggestions on improvement of the current legislation of Ukraine and practice of law enforcement, as well as developed new regulatory acts on regulation of Internet relations, taking into account generally recognized and European approaches and standards.
