The purpose of the research work is to develop a structural scheme and components of a prototype device for the recognition of charges and short earth faults in high voltage transmission lines. The methods of work are based on the theory of digital processing of signals, image recognition and the requirements of development and design of special processor digital technology. The generalized scientific result of the work consists in the elaboration of a structural scheme and components of a prototype device for the recognition of charges and short earth faults in high-voltage transmission lines and software for the construction of a figurative cluster model. Scientific novelty of the conducted research is to develop a structural scheme and circuit design solutions of components of a prototype device for the recognition of charges and short circuits on the ground and programs for constructing a figura-cluster model of technological states of electrical substations. The degree of implementation - tested and implemented at the Institute of Microprocessor Systems for Electrical Power Engineering (IMCO) of the Carpathian State Center of Information Technologies and Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Lviv).
