We determined EC50 of this compound, which is 0.0198 mol/l. It was determined that 3- (hydroxyimino) pentane-2,4-dione exhibited low antiradical activity, compared with the standard - ascorbic acid (EC50 = 2.025'10-5 mol / l). Oxidation of 3- (hydroxyimino) pentane-2,4-dione by phenyliodobenzenediacetate in acetic acid, an iminooxyl radical, N-oxyl-iminopentane-2,4-dione, was obtained.
