For determination of integral index of the ecological state of marine waters of Ukraine the method of the ortogonal planning of monitoring data is offered in space of the first main components of the matrix of standards, built on the base of monitoring researches of UkrSCES, and also recommendations of the Water Scope directive 2000/60/ ЕС and Scope directive on marine strategy 2008/56/ ЕС. Approbation of method of the ortogonal planning is conducted as evaluated by quality of marine waters. On the basis of results of the executed researches the mathematically reasonable instrument of estimation of quality of marine waters is offered.
