At the same time, the creation and effective management of the network of marine protected natural areas and water areas in the Azov-Black Sea region requires the development of scientific foundations and the implementation of a number of mandatory scientific, methodological, economic, legal and organizational measures that should be included in the action plan. The report provides recommendations on priority directions and activities for the creation and integrated management of marine protected natural areas (water areas) and the adaptation of the legal foundations for the creation and operation of them in Ukraine.
