The aim of the work is review of existing methods and approaches to assessing of assimilation capacity of coastal waters of seas and analyze necessary environmental and information support for their use. Method of research - system analysis, generalization, analytical, statistical, graphical methods, method of comparisons. Approaches to assessing of assimilation capacity of coastal waters of seas are considered. Assimilation capacities are determined by "statistical" approach method for two sections of coastal marine area of Odessa. The existing opportunities for environmental and information support of Ukraine's maritime strategy are considered and general recommendations are provided. Modern site of UkrSCES are developed and based on WordPress content management system. The structure, design and information component were developed and integrated. Modern European maritime directives are analyzed and plan for their implementation in the information structure of the UkrSCES are created. Metadata has been created in accordance with the ISO-19115/19139 format that meets the requirements of the European INSPIRE directive and making configures to server software "ESRI Geoportal" for their display and access via Internet.
