The subject of the research is the influence of technological and constructive factors on the productivity of a mobile plant and the quality indices of thermosetting graphite (hereinafter referred to as TPG). The purpose of research and development work (hereinafter - DKR) is the creation of mobile process equipment for the production of sorbent based on thermosetting graphite for the elimination of the consequences of emergencies associated with the spill of oil and petroleum products. Design methods are an analysis of existing design solutions of similar installations and typical designs of general and chemical engineering of individual nodes, their transformation and inversion, heuristic design methods, and the use of numerical mathematical modeling in a package of applications (hereinafter referred to as PPP) "Flow Simulation" for the acceptance of design solutions. Based on the study of world-wide experience of fixed installations for the production of thermo-expanded graphite, a mobile plant designed and tested, designed to eliminate oil and petroleum spills directly at the site of an accident, was designed, manufactured and tested.
