Theoretical and practical results, novelty- During the implementation of the 2nd phase of "Building and maintaining of "Nanotechnologies and Nanomaterials" business portal" the following activities were done: the analysis on the level of development of nanotechnologies from economic point of view from their launch to the present: the data on markets, fundings, companies, patents and publications are presented based on the analysis of the US and Europe compared to their main competitors; examples of some research and development results, conducted by scientists of various institutes of the NAS of Ukraine within the framework of a comprehensive targeted program of basic research of NAS Ukraine "Fundamental problems of new nanomaterials and nanotechnologies establishment". the International conference "Nanotechnologies and Nanomaterials" (NANO 2016) on 24-27 of August, 2016, a large-scale event, which combined inputs from the leading scientists and the young ones from different countries, discussions and press conference where the issues of prospects of nanoscience development in Ukraine were discussed. The Organizing Committee received applications from more than 740 participants from around the world. During the conference, the scientists from 30 countries shared their knowledge and achievements in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. The conference was focused on the latest achievements in the advanced nano-science and in the border areas that stimulated fruitful scientific debates between scientists and researchers from different disciplines and countries. In addition, to promote nanotechnology among young people and stimulate the interest to science the scientific and social event "Science Picnic NANO-2016" was held. Еstablished a business-portal "Nanotechnologies andNanomaterials" (http://www1.nas.gov.ua/programs/nano2b) by adding the new categories, filling the homepage with relevant information, updating the information about the demand and offer in nanotechnologies in Ukrainian, English and Russian languages, uploading the video from the NANO 2016 conference for fast and simple acquaintance with video presentations and the latest advances in the nanotechnologies.
