Density and order parameter profiles, as well as their contact values, are calculated. In order to account for the effects of fluctuations the solution of the Riemann problem for the pair correlation function is generalized for the anisotropic case. Additionally, the structure of a fluid with an oscillating potential describing the impact of the solvent on the effective interactions between solute particles is studied. Scaled particle theory is applied to investigate the phase behavior of a hard spherocylinder fluid in a disordered porous medium.
