The object of study - skin melanoma, dysplastic nevi, skin cancer. Aim of study. To improve the diagnosis of melanoma and dysplastic nevi by applying new diagnostic method - spectrophotometry of digital images of pigmented skin tumors. Methods: clinical, spectrophotometric (SPM), dermatoscopy, ultrasound, morphological, computerized digital image processing, mathematical, statistical. The study included 209 patients, 45 of them were diagnosed with skin melanoma, 44 - dysplastic nevi, 91 - common nevi, 19 - basal cell carcinoma, 6 - pigmented dyskeratosis, 4 - hemangioma. The patients' age was from 18 to 75 years. Result of research: a new approach to differential diagnosis of skin melanoma and dysplastic nevi, which is based on the telemedicine diagnosis using spectrophotometry remote digital images of pigmented skin tumors. Developed computerized algorithm for processing digital images of pigmented skin tumors using special software (ImageJ). SPM established criteria for differential diagnosis of skin melanoma: Istart? 18.5 units. Adequate diagnosis is necessary to control SPM histological examination of the removed tumor of skin pigment.
