Objective: search for opportunities of using of polymer-abrasive (PA) tools for finishing and decorating during the manufacture and repair works of thin-walled and complex profile parts made of different materials on the enterprises of aeroengine industry and general engineering. Methods: Mechanical engineering methods - for the study and control of processed surfaces of parts, for determine the force and thermal action of the PA tools. Results of research: developed technologies for the finishing stage of the manufacture of nickel and titanium disks and blades of GTE, which through the use of various polymer-abrasive tools can significantly reduce the proportion or completely abandon manual labor on plumbing and finishing processing of thin-walled elements of a complex profile; the technological recommendations for processing of heat-resistant covering on the rings of aircraft and power plants, for processing parts of non-ferrous metals, particularly aluminum and its alloys, copper, bronze and brass with PA tools, and for using of PA tools in the repair manufacturing parts GTE were developed.
