The samples of the potassium-magnesium phosphate were received at room temperature and characterized by monophasic, dense and homogeneous structure. A method of Cs incorporation in a protective matrix based on potassium-magnesium phosphate was developed. It was shown that the substitution of potassium to cesium is accompanied by an increase in the size of the lattice parameters of potassium-magnesium phosphate, without changing of the crystal structure of material. It was found that with increasing of the heat treatment of the magnesium potassium phosphate samples with cesium up to temperature 1150 ° C cesium amount was unchanged. Research on the incorporation of clinoptilolite, saturated by cesium in potassium-magnesium phosphate matrix was carried out. It was shown by scanning microscopy method that cesium was distributed between phosphate matrix and clinoptilolite and mordenite, incorporated in the potassium-magnesium phosphate matrix. The compressive strength of the obtained composites of the potassium-magnesium phosphate with additions of wollastonite and slags from metallurgical plants has higher values compared to samples of potassium-magnesium phosphate without additives. A process of solidification of salt melt simulator from Nuclear Power Stations into potassium-magnesium phosphate matrix with 35% of the salt melt loading was made.
