The object is to study the characteristics and methods and the creation of contact and interconnect structures extruded thermoelectric materials, development of methods of surface preparation of thermoelectric materials to achieve values ??of adhesive strength of the contact layers close to the values ??of cohesive strength of the material and contact resistance values ??on the boundary of the thermoelectric material - Switching layers 5-10 times smaller than the known analogues. The objective is the development of material science and technological bases of surface preparation and extruded thermoelectric materials development and creating high quality contact and switching composite structures with predetermined properties for thermoelectric energy converters resource to increase their stability and reliability in a space vacuum and aggressive environments. To achieve these goals made a number of these problems: Investigated ways to obtain extruded thermoelectric materials, especially their structure and properties of the contact and interconnect structures for them. Algorithms simulation system "extruded material-contact structure." The theoretical study material extruded features of the system and switching-contact structure, which resulted in the algorithm of choice of optimal contact structures and surface pretreatment thermoelectric material, which allowed to significantly increase the reliability of anti-diffusion layers (adhesive strength is 20-24 MPa for samples of n-type and 17-22 MPa for samples p-type). Developed object-oriented computer simulation program parameters and reliability characteristics of contact and interconnect structures, making it possible to conduct theoretical research, which resulted in thermoelectric materials designed extruded composite contact and switching structure with very low values ??of transition resistances. To clarify the definition of energy and mechanical parameters of the "extruded material - contact structure" built and investigated methods of computer modeling three-dimensional model that takes into account the main factors affecting the efficiency of energy conversion. The method of calculating mechanical and thermal stresses occurring in thermoelectric devices such crystal-solder-heat. The method allows to determine the conditions under which minimized mechanical and thermal stresses in thermoelectric products given their geometry and physical properties - Young's modulus, Poisson, tensile strength. A new technological method of applying highly efficient anti-diffusion layers on the surface TEM. The resulting high-quality coatings with high adhesion and protective properties for large-thermoelectric energy converters increased efficiency.
