The objective is a structural optimization of fuel cells based on 1Ce10ScSZ solid electrolyte and theoretical fundamentals of structural sensitivity of its mechanical behaviour and oxygen-ionic conductivity. Methods of research: transmission and scanning electronmicroscopy and related techniques, x-ray diffraction analysis, mechanical tests on biaxial bend, impedance spectroscopy, density estimation, modeling. Considering the powder consolidation and structure refinement as the thermally activated processes, the relationships between the strength and subgrain and grain sizes, porosity, quality of interfaces, fracture mechanisms and sintering temperatures are found. The phenomenological theories on a structure formation of bulk and film 1Ce10ScSZ electrolytes, sintered and deposited with electron beam, modified by features of initial materials, thermal and mechanical energies, and structural sensitivities of their mechanical behaviour and oxygen-ionic conductivity are estabished. The dependencies found are based on data on interfaces states, fracture nano- and micromechanisms, and sizes of structural constituents and porosity, which are typical for sitered materials. The concept on a structural optimization of ceramic fuel cells are formulated. Product Description popup.authors Биков І.П. Бричевський М.М. Бродніковська І.В. Бродніковський Є.М. Бродніковський Д.М.
