Methodology of the medium-scale mapping of landscapes was worked out with application of the modern geoinformation technologies. The procedure of the geoinformation mapping of landscapes was developed. The classification of natural and the anthropogenic changed landscapes was offered. The methodical recommendations of medium-scale of the geoinformation mapping of landscapes were prepared. The map of landscapes of Ukraine (scale 1: 500 000) was produced. The results of the investigation were implemented for scientific, nature protection and research organizations.
