As a working liquid an acetone was used. The experiments were performed in the conditions of pool boiling and natural convection. A stainless steel tube with diameter 2.5 mm was used as the working section. The high-speed video recording of the under study processes was conducted. The regions of regime parameters, corresponding to formation of evaporation fronts and third heat transfer crisis on a vertical heat-transfer surface in the conditions of subcooling of liquid in a working volume, was determined.
