The purpose of the project - solving scientific and technical problems of the development of theoretical foundations and scientific statements for the creation of model and mechanisms for the effective control of parameters that improve the processes of forming, sintering, strengthening and heat treatment of blanks and articles of refractory materials and alloys to ensure their dimensional accuracy, shape stability, electric and crack resistance at high temperatures, heavy abrasion and shock loadings. Subject of investigation - thermomechanical regimes and conditions of sintering and plastic deformation followed by the heat treatment to provide the articles the required performance. The work aims to create effective technologies of special treatment of refractory materials and alloys to receive high-performance products and they will be based on new principles of control of the process parameters and optimization models of the plastic deformation and heat treatment with the determination of the optimal physical state of the material during treatment. It is proposed to determine the conditions of the resistance loss of the heat-conductive mode, plastic deformation, diffusion, shock-wave processes during the change of the acoustic properties under conditions of temperature gradients, pressure and acoustic stiffness. The influence of the processes of the resistance loss on the forming of the structure of the treated materials has been studied. The optimal intensity of deformation and structure of the products of refractory materials and alloys have been determined on the basis of theoretical and experimental studies of the mechanisms of the strain hardening processes, compacting, sintering deformation to determine . This gave the possibility to develop the production technology of carbide cutting and armour protective plates, hardened after the primary sintering and a new technological production scheme to produce armour protective plates for body armor and armored vehicles, as well as tungsten tapes and cathodes of high quality with a high performance.
