The object of the research is mechanisms for state regulation of industrial restructuring in the context of the formation and implementation of a new industrial policy in Ukraine. The methods of the research are theoretical generalization, axiomatic method, analysis, synthesis, classification, formalization and modeling, cluster analysis, simulation, scenario approach. Global trends in the industrial development of countries of the world as well as the condition and trends in the development of the industrial sector of the Ukrainian economy are studied and generalized. There justified the concept of formation and implementation of the industrial policy as well as state regulation of the industrial restructuring in the country on the basis of a new technological paradigm. An integral index for assessing the level of industrial development is worked out. Scientific and methodological provisions to identify the model of industrial policy of the country on the basis of its components are elaborated. Priority branches of the industrial development in Ukraine and implementation tools of the industrial policy are substantiated. A simulation model of scenarios of the industrial policy implementation is built. A mechanism to ensure the implementation of the industrial restructuring policy that includes creation of clusters, technological platforms and building road maps is elaborated.
