The purpose of the research is to develop the conceptual basis of neo-industrial economic policy, its components and the principles of their interaction. On the basis of the generalization of the concepts of neo-industrialization, reindustrialization, modernization and analysis of their content is determined that neo-industrialization differs from other related processes in that it is based on the introduction of new convergent technologies in all spheres of economic and social activities. Given the long process of de-industrialization of the Ukrainian economy, neo-industrialization should become a paradigm of economic policy at the present stage. It is shown that the basis of neo-industrial economic policy should be support and development of research and innovation activities in the public and private sectors.
