The purpose of the research is to determine the directions of the neo-industrial economic policy in Ukraine based on the introduction of convergent technologies as a response to global challenges. It is shown that the global challenges and risks of the world economy and their impact on the development of the Ukrainian economy, reinforced by the long-term trend of de-industrialization, necessitate the development of a new approach to the formation of economic policy. Based on the selection of priority sectors of industry to introduce the latest convergent technologies and the conceptual foundations of the neo-industrial economic policy, a scheme for implementing the neo-industrial economic policy has been developed. Organizational, institutional and tax instruments for implementing non-industrial economic policy are proposed, and priorities for public-private partnership in developing and implementing the latest convergent technologies for the effective implementation of neo-industrial economic policies are determined. The results of scientific research are used in the practical activities of government bodies, scientific institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Forecasting proposals on the promising areas of research - scientific, technical and innovative development, the competitiveness of the state, its regions and business entities.The research results are used in the practice by state and local government, research institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The forward-looking proposals on promising areas of research are scientific, technical and innovation development and competitiveness of Ukraine and its regions and enterprises.
