Subject of research work is the study of modern life strategies, which will choose young men and women in Ukraine. The purpose of research work is to analyze gender peculiarities of life strategies of modern Ukrainian youth and to develop practical recommendations and suggestions to incorporate gender components into government programs concerning youth. Results of research work are: o analysis of objective and subjective factors shaping life strategies of young people; o apply a gender approach to the study of life strategies for young people; o studied the life strategies of modern Ukrainian youth on the basis of gender components; o analyzed the value orientation as a basis of design life strategies of youth; o investigated gender peculiarities of life plans of students; o detected ideas about success and life prospects of young people.
