The subject of the research is the international, national and regional mechanisms and technologies of social support for internally displaced youth and young families. The project aim is to improve support mechanisms for internally displaced youth and young families on the national and regional levels. In the long-term perspective, the research results will enable to adjust the social policy in general, mechanisms and social work technologies with regard to IDPs that will be focused on the social instability prevention and creating conditions for the reintegration of IDPs and renewal of decent life conditions. The topicality of the research is basically determined by the unanticipated massive internal migration of considerable population groups and the necessity to urgently create theoretical approaches and technologies of work with a new social group – IDPs. The research methods. In order to achieve the aim of the research a complex of general scientific and specific research methods has been used. They are as follows: general scientific analysis methods (analysis of the state policy of Ukraine on internally displaced youth and young families support, analysis of international practices and technologies of social work with internally displaced youth and young families, etc.), synthesis and modeling (extrapolation of research results for creating an efficient system of IDPs’ adaptation and socio-psychological security), different surveys (studying of support forms and technologies for internally displaced youth and young families on the national and regional levels; studying their major socio-psychological needs). The practical value of the research. The research results, its major statements and conclusions will be used or partially used for: - the development of regulatory legal documents for national adaptation programs and strategies for IDPs and improvement of the social support system for youth and families with children in Ukraine; – the professional development for specialists who work with youth, children and families. The structure of the research work. The paper consists of three chapters, nine sections, conclusions, recommendations and bibliography. Volume of work: 116 pages, 10 diagrams, 3 tables.
