The aim is to eхplore the artificial fiber carrier "VIA" along with immobilized mikroorganisms for the purpose of stormwater treatment at of the "Motor Sich" JSC. According to the results of the study it has been found that after the storm sewage treatment using the proposed method on the stormwater treatment facilities AIA 54 of the "Motor Sich" plant, the oil content in the purified water decreased (average figures) from 0,759 ± 0,255 mg / dm3 to 0,456 ± 0,093 mg / dm3. Effective performance of the storm sewage treatment for mineral oil (using mean data) was at 40%. Nickel concentration in the treated water has also decreased after using this method for biological storm sewage treatment. The nickel content in the treated water decreased (on average) from 0,0238 ± 0,0069 mg / dm3 to 0,0159 ± 0,0032 mg / dm3. The effectiveness of the storm sewage treatment for nіckel ions (based on average figures) has been at the level of 33,5%. It is highly recommended to use the combined biological treatment using artificial fiber carrier "VIA" and the root system of the higher aquatic plants (water hyacinth and calamus ordinary) for an effective storm sewage treatment on the stormwater treatment facilities №54.
