The expediency of use of Hippophae rhamnoides for phytoremediation of oil-contaminated soils was proved. Hippophae rhamnoides is tolerant to oil-contamination . It fully survives in oil-contaminated soils and provides a high level of cleaning to 92.7% in the fourth year of growth. The optimum ecological and economical way phytoremediation of oil-contaminated soils using the Hippophae rhamnoides was developed. The feasibility study of this way was conducted.
